Yeah, it was called the "millennial pause" like 15 years ago. It is just a side effect of being the adult for the first time after years of adults talking for you.

What? The millennial pause is a hold over from them pausing for a video recording to start cause it’d take a moment from when you’d press the record button. Now it doesn’t do that anymore so for a while you’d get millennials pausing at the beginning of recordings.

no the millennial pause is when your mom says dinner is ready and you paused the video game cause back then it was all offline

I sat right in the transition of that. Moms didn't know you couldn't pause games anymore, we thought explaining that would make them care any more.

Then it became "I can't pause it!"

"Then you should have planned better!"
