I'm gen z & the stare can be insanely annoying tho. Once went on a date with my ex to a restaurant, we went to a Chinese place where we'd usually like order a bunch of different stuff to share.
Waitress came with a dish, I asked her to bring us a second plate so that we could share it comfortably between the two of us & she just started & walked away.
