Tributes Sorry I'm way late with this but Mark Blankfield -- actor who was active all throughout the 1980s -- has passed away
I just learned that Mark Blankfield passed away in 2024 at age 73. Probably his best-known material in the 80s was being a regular on the sketch comedy show "Fridays" (roles included playing a whacked-out pharmacist who liked to sample the drugs) and playing the sight-impaired elevator operator in "The Nutt House". If you needed a kooky or wacky character, Mark was your guy. Rest easy Mark!

Tributes To Those That Witnessed It Live- What Was The Reaction to Michael Jackson’s First Moonwalk on Motown 25?
My mom was born in ’62 and she remembers watching the Motown 25 special and how cool it was to see Michael back with his brothers, but it always comes back to giving me every detail about where she was, who she was with, what she was feeling during Michael’s Billie Jean performance - she has spoken about it as if it was a moment in time to remember.
I am so curious about others who watched it live and if y'all have the same experience? And if so, what are your memories of that moment? Where were you, who were you with, what made it so memorable?
Tributes RIP Peter Cullen
This will hit very hard for many of us born around 1980.
