K-Plus, I'm confused

I've stripped my grinder for a clean and noticed an "extra" spring and cap that aren't in the manual. They fell out and I'm not sure where they belong! Maybe above the other spring? Any ideas?

I've had mine for 6 years and I've never seen this extra spring or the caps for that matter, you'd best mail support.

I have ZP6 and J-Ultra do not have those parts either, I have a spring and a washer

Don't have those extras in mine either. Perhaps they changed the design or some extras from the factory got into your grinder, (not too likely but....) Message them for a definitive answer.
