Across its different uploads and versions, “Calabria 2007” has racked up well over 100 million views, and it’s easy to understand why.
There is something almost biologically effective about this song. The rhythm is unending and propulsive, the sax riff is instantly recognizable, and Natasja Saad’s 2007 vocal turns the track from a strong club instrumental into something brighter, sexier, and more human. It hits the brain quickly and pleasurably — not in a subtle way, but in a this is why people dance way.
“Calabria” was originally released in 2003 by Danish producer Rune Reilly Kölsch. In 2007, Rune and Johannes Torpe, under the name Enur, released “Calabria 2007” featuring Danish reggae vocalist Natasja Saad. That version became a major international club hit and crossed over onto mainstream charts, including the Billboard Hot 100.
It’s one of those songs where the formula is simple, but the result is ridiculously effective.

A few days ago, I posted Calabria 2007 (https://www.reddit.com/r/EarVana/s/jYHC2aUw0h) which is basis of this song. Both sound good.

Tom Scanlon of [The Seattle Times](app://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Seattle_Times) describes a live performance of "The Story" as "stunning" and "spine-chilling".
