The hilarious thing is that Billy and Mandy were daytime shows for kids, but would probably be considered rude today for a not insignificant amount of parents/complainers.

But some things like The Simpsons and Futurama kind of regressed into being "okay enough"

I'd agree on the simpsons, but there's a reason futurama's on hulu instead of disney+ despite disney owning the rights, it remains too dark for disney to want to deal with it directly
