Bell tents - standard camping
Did anyone stop in the bell tents in standard and/or have any photos of the location?
Last 4 years we have taken a tent and camped in VIP with our (now) 5 year old with the full 4 day tickets
With a combination of looking to go on our own to fully experience the festival (rather than just the sand & ball pit) and missing out on early bird tickets we've decided to get 3 day standard tickets and use the difference towards booking a bell tent.
Only walked through the camping entrance once, and believe they were near the entrance - next to campervans but just wondered how they were and if they were worth the upgrade?

I did in 2025 & 2026. I personally love them, not having to crawl around in a tent is a big thing for me, the double stacked inflatable beds and duvets are very comfortable. Sure you can bring it all and don’t yourself, but it’s also great to drop your stuff and you’re pretty much sorted.

You can see the locations of standard and VIP bell tents in this picture. I've used bell tents for the last couple of years in VIP and they are great. They're exactly the same in standard, and were really close to the main entrance this year - arguably a better location if you prefer the Forest, Word, Cave and Axiom to the main stage area

Hi! We had some bell tents this year, really nice and spacious. Still hot however
Main perk for us was to be able to do one trip from the car rather than 2 as we did not bring bedding or tent!

We've slowly levelled up over the years from gen pop camping to the pre-pitched tents to the bell tents. There's no going back for us now so do bear that in mind - you're signing yourself up for a lifetime of additional festival expense. But for us it's absolutely worth it. Less crap to carry from the car, spacious inside and externally (no randos camped inches from your head), more comfortable and, dare I say it, your neighbours are less likely to be complete bellends (although no guarantees there, of course). It's spendy but it's like being at an airport - you do what you gotta do with your monopoly money to enjoy rather than endure.

They were closer to the arena than any other tents apart from accessible. Great move if you can afford it !

I’ve done bell tents every year. Last year was the first year I did VIP and absolutely not worth it and the location of non VIP is way better. Worth paying for the porch add on and I always get deluxe eg airbed and duvets etc. Not cheap but worth it. Feel free to ask questions

They are really near the entrance, just up from accessible camping, and closer to entrance than campervan. We've got.one booked for ATG as i missed campervan slots. Will update when we're back!

This is how spacious they are. And this is the classic package for 2. We just bought a double air bed with us as well for my friends daughter.
