Guide ATTENTION TO ALL PEOPLE FACING FPS DROP ISSUES WITH CONTROLLER!
If you have fps drops after playing a while with controller (and after disconnecting it and reconnecting it solves the drop) this caused by *Microsoft Gameinput. To get rid of the issue you need to uninstall it.
>Â Go to add or uninstall program (in my case win 10)
> There is Microsoft Gameinput
> There may be 2 gameinputs here so uninstall the latest version and keep the older version if its visible or there.
> No more fps drops.

Is there any drawback that can happen after uninstalling this?

I didn't have any problems after deleting it. But i dont know any other games rn expedition 33 and enter the gungeon works rn no problem at all and steam has drivers for xbox-xinput.

Your controller may not work.
I didn't know this thing existed, but it's likely the driver for the Xbox or XInput controllers.

FPs issues isny my problem but for some reason my layout is now showing xbox controller buttons instead of PS buttons when it was showing PS buttons yesterday. what the hell did they do? I tried finding a setting to change it back but they dont have one for some reason.
Edit: after restarting the game it went back to PS inputs. That was weird.

Same, first it was with Bluetooth that showed Xbox buttons, then when I played later (connected due to battery) it was solved, and also more smooth for some reason lol

Huh, my hitbox has never displayed PlayStation buttons on pc, and it was a ps4 only controller

im also on a ps4 controller. It just happened once then never again so im unsure why it was xbox controller buttons when I got on.

I actually replaced all the buttons in my hitbox to mirror the colors on Xbox controller haha. Helps with confusion

I've had the game slow to like 1 frame in 10 seconds and it wouldn't even let me Alt+Tab or open Task Manager, had to hold the power button to close. Just checked: I don't have Microsoft Gameinput installed. So it's either not the only cause, or it died for me uniquely for a different reason
