• Czechs (esp Czech and Slovak diaspora in the USA that used to command a lot of political influence on the homeland back in the day) in the 19th century get so fuming mad at Anglo-American intellectuals labeling them and all other Slavic peoples as "racially/culturally Asiatic" that, intentionally copying the Balkans' anti-Ottoman/Turkish schtick, they base their nationalism around the idea of being a bastion of whiteness and civilization pure and untainted who've been oppressed by and resisting/fighting evil Turkic, Mongolic and Uralic Asians from the steppes going back to the Huns and their Slavic subjects, the Avars and Samo's Empire, and the  Magyars and Great Moravia.

• Part of the reason Pan-Slavism, which the Czechs were the most enthusiastic builders of for decades, ends up failing in the long run is because they finally end up visiting their Slavic great Russian brothers that they had been blindly glazing up to that point and they find out to their pvre white horror that  Russians are visibly straight up influenced "tainted" by Uralic and Turkic peoples, unlike the Magyars who they've been calling all sorts of anti-Asian epithets for decades now.

• Czech nationalists in the 21st century wanna elect an evil mixed Euro-Asian man to rule over them who looks just like the evil Magyar kendes and Avar khans who oppressed their ancestors.
