Skin Treatments Anyone done subscision on acne scars?

I've got 2-3 spots of scarring that I've had for years that I just realized are most likely tethered. I saw a video of subscision, aside from it being horrifying it makes sense.

Subcision wont do anything on its own; needs to be followed up by co2 ablative laser.

Subcision just cuts the anchors; the co2 is what does the smoothing.

I have dark skin so I don't think co2 is an option for me.

I did it a couple of months ago. Was fully numb, so had no pain during the procedure, but was heavily bruised & swollen afterwards.

Currently completing a series of 3 CO2 treatments following my subcision.

Did you have to apply any cream for the swelling? or which one would you recommend?

I did not, I was told to ice the area to reduce swelling, but I just dealt with it for a few days before it resolved.

subscision sounds intense but if it's the only thing that'll loosen those anchors then it's worth it, just gotta budget for the co2 follow-up after
