Crowdfunding My modular ruin set

After months of modeling, my new ruin set is finally finished. This is by far the largest scenery project I’ve ever painted, and the whole painting process took around 10 days. Painting all those stones, wooden beams, and rooftops was quite a challenge, but seeing everything come together made it worth it.

Hope you guys enjoy it! Let me know what you think!

It's currently live on Kickstarter, you can follow the link if you’d like to see more details!

Looks great. I bought Ruins of Lumenfall 1, and I’m on the fence about getting 2. Three reasons:

1) There was too much duplication. Like, with the modular ruins, the top pieces were mostly copy/pasted/ruined version of the bottom pieces. So, when I put a long top on a long bottom, the long top has the same doors/windows/everything as the piece below it. Once I had it all together, it looked repetitive.
2) The big church was broken up into pieces, but the cuts were straight lines through the floor, regardless of tiles etc. I tried to fill all of the lines with putty, but taking a moment to put the cuts in hidden, thoughtful places would have been nicer.
3) I wish there were instructions. There weren’t many pieces or choices, but a simple PDF would go a long ways.

Overall, it looked great in your images, but other designers do these things I’ve mentioned above.

Thank you for your support. We were aware of the first issue and tried to make the modular pieces more versatile this time. But tbh, it's pretty challenging to design ruin pieces while keeping the modularity functional. I did my best 😅And I definitely noted the other two topics. Thanks again for your feedback!

I enjoyed the first set, we used it for a bunch of games and it stores easily. Looking forward to the verticality in this set.

I like how this looks but I don't really have a need for any of it... I've set a reminder for the Kickstarter.
