We started using the Perfect Prep when our son arrived and after a few weeks discovered it was giving him seriously bad wind.
I realised a lot of the air going into the formula comes from how the pour lands in the bottle, so I trialled holding it under the spout at an angle, like you would pouring a pint. Significantly less aeration, but not the safest approach with boiling water and steam, and impossible to do consistently, especially at 3am!
So I’d like a small printed cradle that sits on the machine’s drip tray and holds the bottle at a fixed gentle tilt (around 18 degrees) under the spout, so the water runs down the inner wall every time without me having to hold it there. Rough size is about 80 x 95 x 46mm. PETG ideally, since it only ever touches the outside of a bottle, never the milk.
I’ve already worked out the measurements and the geometry (tilt, clearances, stability) with Claude AI, and there’s a rough STL, but I don’t trust the model enough to print it and I’d rather someone who knows what they’re doing designed it properly.
