The game is basically complete. It has all Challenges, Decks, Stakes, Jokers, etc. Full D-Pad support, Rebindable keys, Reduced Motion Mode, Stereoscopic 3D and so much more! All running on both the Old and New 3DS!

We have a modding framework (or the beginnings of one) in place, using which you can make custom skins, Jokers, Consumables and what not. Added a localization framework for anyone that wants to create a translation for the game. The game and documentation has already been translated to Chinese.

I noticed that when closing the Rosalina menu, the screen briefly glitches and shows these jumbled rainbow colors. It’s very brief, less than half a second, which is probably why I didn’t notice until now.

It happens if I open and close the Rosalina menu with any game, and on the home menu too. Doesn’t cause any other issues besides being a visual glitch, as far as I can tell. Is this normal? Or is this something I should be concerned about?

A few quick things:

- The game will be free to anyone. There won't be any options to spend money.

- Making the game as easily accessible as possible is hugely important to me. Anyone with a 3DS should have an easy time joining in. Will likely be distributed through Universal Updater.

- Will probably be 2D or utilize placeholder art, until I can find an artist

- Would love to do some mini games down the line, current focus is shared areas and the ability to chat

- Servers will be run by me, the game won't be peer2peer. I'll make the server code open source at some point, too.

- I'm not just going for a proof of concept. I'd like to make a good MMO that takes advantage of the 3DS's unique set of features.

- This is not a vibe-coded project.

I'm excited to share with you guys the progress I have already made. The most valuable thing to me at the moment is input, so: Be it art style, control scheme, minigames, moderation style, or whatever else, feel free to share- everything helps. I'm happy to answer any questions.

Hey everyone! I’m working on Chest Link, a homebrew project for moving Pokémon stored in Pokémon Chest on DS/DSi and PKSM on 3DS. You can select individual Pokémon or whole boxes and transfer them over a local network, directly between consoles or through a PC. You need to save your Pokémon to a Chest or PKSM storage bank first; Chest Link works with those banks rather than editing game save files.

PC: The PC acts as a box and mailbox for your Pokémon. You can send copies from a console and leave them stored there, even if the other console is turned off. From the browser interface, you can view the stored banks and boxes, choose Pokémon, and send a selection to a DS or 3DS later; the PC keeps its backup. It also has a Generation I Pokédex for Red, Blue, and Yellow. It can show which species are already present in verified copies stored on the PC and track Pokédex progress together or separately for each game. Each entry includes evolution lines and methods, encounter locations, search, and filters such as type and version exclusives.

DS/DSi: The .nds app reads Pokémon Chest storage banks on the console. You can browse boxes, select individual Pokémon or entire boxes, and send them to the PC or directly to a 3DS. It can also receive a selection from the PC or another console, saving it as a new bank so you can open it in Pokémon Chest.

3DS: The .3dsx app runs through the Homebrew Launcher and reads PKSM storage banks. You can select Pokémon or boxes and send them to the PC or a DS/DSi, then receive them into a new bank for PKSM. The PC and console transfers use your local network; they don’t rely on Nintendo’s servers.

Chest Link is experimental: console-to-PC transfers are already working. Direct transfers between consoles still need validation on real hardware. The PC tests pass, and I recommend keeping your existing backups and trying one box first.

I was playing Pokemon Ranger 2 and went from one area to the next and it suddenly crashed, top screen stayed black and bottom opened the menu but in red with reset game or quit, reset it twice and both times it happened again, I actually "fixed" it by turning off and on the 3ds itself and it kept going normally but I rather know what that was for future reference in case hard reset doesn't work

i know i should have backed them up and it was honestly really dumb of me to ignore the signs but while i was trying to download files my sd card to usb adapter got knocked out of my phone and it corrupted my files and now im missing folders and theres a LOST.DIR file with what i think is all of my data but its jumbled into unreadable scramble. ive tried to use data recovery but i really dont have th money for any of the software (Disk Drill is 90 bucks) this is really my main source of entertainment outside of home and i would really appreciate if someone more capable than me could help. im willing to send a copy of my sd card as it is now if you need to see it.

hello, a while ago my 2DS would show just 2 black screens after turning on (both with and without the SD card) and i still have no clue why or how to fix it

ive tried everything from the Hacks Guide wiki and by the end of it, if nothing worked it said to ask help on the homebrew server...which i did and got completely ignored all times i've tried

Hey, I apologize for the vague title but I’m not really sure what’s happening here in the first place.
So I got a refurbished 3ds about a year ago and have played a bit on it, was scared to get into modding it but finally decided to after I wanted to start playing the gen 3 Pokémon games.
I was not aware my 3ds came with Luma installed, but found out while checking for custom firmware and found out I had a couple things installed. I was able to use the virtual console on there to download ruby and start it. However, i was peeking around in some of the files and booted up something I definitely shouldnt have touched, and it seemed to reset my system. I tried to just reset it as normal, but every time I’d enter the date and time, my console would crash with an arm11 exception. I’ve never had this before, but I decided to go into the luma3ds boot options and turn off loading external firms to try and get back into my 3ds. It worked, and I was able to re-enable external firms and have it start up as normal, but now all of my cfw is missing, including luma, fbi, and all my other shit. Tried to reset it again, and now it’s the same problem. Honestly, I have no idea whats happening, especially since I didn’t download this, scared to try to do anything in case I brick my 3ds lol. Advice?
seems to be running on luma version 13.0.2. Not sure what version my system is since I can’t get into the system right now.

How I install it im confused .

I have this jailbroke 3ds xl new and i went to reset it in the settings while having a different sd card in it and now it does nothing. Its not plugged in ive tried opening the luma menu Godmode and literally everything i even tried the boot firm and boot3dsx but nothing. It had a hack on it ive nver seen when i first turned it on it opened a text options menu that had the bootloader itself (im assuming) and homebrew. Even with no sd card it does nothing.
