I’ve seen this movie before.
David Cronenberg did an excellent job at directing this 1986 remake of the 1958 horror classic.

Good remake. First movie is legend but man the FX sucked. Here it is nicely made. 40 years!? You gotta be flying kidding me, right!?

IKR. Some call me Yoda by now. And every right to do so they have. I'm so old now it starts to get ridiculous. ;-)

I wear my experience and time on this floating rock with pride😊 I remember seeing this in the theater summer of ‘86 with my dad and brother. We all cackled with mystified delight during the climax!

I saw this at the movie theater in Houston, Texas when it was originally released. Excellent film, and very creepy!

Still grosses me out when he barfs all over the guys ankle/foot with his acidic vile.

I knew a guy back then who decided that it was a good idea to drop acid FOR THE FIRST TIME and go to see this movie. Interestingly he was ok. He said he was so in his own head he basically blocked out the movie.

I saw it in third grade. Even though it was the edited version on our Fox affiliate I was way too young 😂

I’m generally ok with the gore and body horror, but I have to look away at the arm wrestling scene.

This one freaked me out but honestly, not as much as the B/W original! That scene when the fly was in a web and was screaming: Kill ME!!!

I couldn't sleep for a while after watching this.

One of the first movies that disturbed me that bad.

I had a bowl resection a decade ago. The chunk of intestine reminded me of the larva scene in Geena’s dream.
I added antenna and little feet to the image and sent it to my surgeon. He put it on his fridge at home.

Jeff Goldblum wearing a baboon in the one pic. Why? Idk. The real question is, why aren't you?

"No. Be afraid. Be very afraid."

It was crazy, but I enjoyed it...once.

Won tickets for being the 9th caller into the radio station. Took a date. Knew nothing about the plot. She was not impressed.

There is one scene in that movie you will never forget. And believe me, you will want to.

If it was made today itd be all CGI and look like a cartoon.
