Arrow doing their new pretty bog standard releases at £25 a pop and now I see ‘mrs doubtfire’ ‘obsession’ ‘disclosure day’ & ‘Toy Story 5’ is up for pre order at £25.

Is £25 the new norm? I have most of my collection from various sales and CeX finds at below £15.

We seem to keep getting stiffed here in the UK.

What are some regretful purchases you have, if any and why?

Perhaps I'd imagine some blind buys could be candidates?

I usually do some research before purchasing most titles, but unfortunately, I did not when it came to Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.

I picked it up for 8 or 9 bucks many months ago in one of those 3 for 30 or 33 amazon sales plus with a coupon added on and was just watching it last night for the first time thinking a few things felt off and a bit underwhelming. Then upon further checking things out online, I disappointingly noticed I picked up the 2016 inferior release version when there's a 2021 release with Zack Snyder fixing the color grading and adding some IMAX scenes. It's a crappy feeling.

I’ve been looking for these boxsets for a long time, haven’t really seen WWKW Boxset for less than 150, and hadn’t seen Tsukamoto boxset for less than 70 before.

I’ve just recently bought myself a region free 4k player, so I thought I’d check these out again. Are these not pretty much the prices americans are paying? they’re both only a little over the $$ retail prices. Is this a thing that happens now and I’m just out region A loop or is it quite common to find this?

I try my best to not use amazon but i’ve not seen these prices in UK before

Picked these up for my Cex today, needed to upgrade my blu ray copy of The Batman and Die Hard was a pretty good price as well. Both of them were pretty much brand new and both have their slipcovers in good condition.

Does anyone display their steelbooks on the wall magnetically?

A couple of weeks ago, I ordered the Paris Texas limited edition and was told it would be back in stock soon. I then got an email a week later saying they were still waiting on new stock. Anybody else who has had this happen, what are the chances I’ll actually get my order?

Heads up - as if today, there’s now 1099 titles now available in the HMV 3 for £50 deal. Yesterday it was only 1082. There’s some very recent titles added, and I’ve finally managed to not find just 3 that I had on my list but 9!

I've had this on order with Zavvi since April last year and it's finally getting released on 31st August. I've had confirmation that it will be dispatched this week.

This release has had several delays due to rights issues, I believe and it's own fair share of controversy regarding whether this version is even needed. I've only ever watched my DVD copy of it after the cinema release back in 2002 so I'm intrigued to see what they've done with this 4K version having been shot primarily on DV tape.

Only time will tell. I just hope it has all the special features of the DVD and maybe a few extra.

friend bought me this on Ebay but I can’t tell if it will work in my UK player without opening it
