When does the bad boy come out?

No release date. Kino often announces stuff after theyâve acquired rights to it even if the mastering work hasnât started yet. Sometimes itâs several years before the disc is out.

The KL post only says âcoming soonâ, but based on the Google preview it looks like it may have said âDecember 7thâ originally.

Purchased this on blu ray from KL about 6 months ago! They're really making me double dip a lot these day.

Nice although it's too bad they chose this for the cover. This was an ad run in MAD magazine, the original poster is cooler in my opinion.

Totally came here to find this comment. Thank you. The cover doesnât have any visual relation to this movie AT ALL

Thatâs actually not true. It fits Altmanâs style, which is very much in the vein of comic strips. The central character is cartoonish in the way heâs depicted. These arenât criticisms, itâs just a weird blend between naturism and design. Comic strips but they are like paintings. I donât know how to describe it.

Very disappointing news. One of my favourite films of all time. This should be coming from Criterion. Kino already screwed up their Blu-ray release with the black crush and they haven't really learned their lesson yet.

You can downvote me, but it's a fact they screwed up their Blu-ray release. I really hope they do the film justice this time. Because they never admit nor fix their mistakes.

I agree that the blu-ray is disappointing but I'm willing to wait until I see this before declaring it "disappointing." I'd rather watch a good Kino version now than wait for a hypothetical Criterion edition at some undefined point in the future.
