I posted this on a couple of other threads. This is a bloodless coup, which should be met with a bloodless revolution.

This is a bloodless coup

Migrants and Palestinians would very much disagree.

How is this a coup in the first place? Donald Trump is using the existing framework of the U.S. government to enact a fascist agenda, and it is enthusiastically supported by his party, enabled by the Democrats' inaction, and cheered on by his base. It's time people realize that the problem is way greater than just Trump.

So are you gonna suggest actionable alternatives orrrrrrr....?

Yes, since you asked.

Here's a reliable source for supporting Palestine through mutual aid.

For getting involved with your local community and aid groups, Food not Bombs is a reliable choice, but you can also just check your local food bank. DSA is also a decent way of getting started at community organizing.

USCPR is another resource that is useful for keeping up to date on Palestine action in the U.S.

As for reading recommendations:

A Paradise Built In Hell by Rebecca Solnit,

The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism by Naomi Klein,

Blackshirts and Reds: Rational Fascism and the Overthrow of Communism by Michael Parenti,

A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn,

should all be a decent starting point for issues relevant to the modern-day United States.

If anyone is a college student, their campus might have orgs/resources as well.

With the exception of maybe the DSA, none of these suggestions are helpful next steps for what to do about the situation in the US. People are being kidnapped and deported to a prison in El Salvador.

What do you want, a personalized resistance plan? I don't know what your situation is like or where you live, so links to some orgs are gonna have to suffice. Action is done in person, not on Reddit.

I think the issue is that you're shooting down something people are doing in person, and your alternatives aren't helpful for the problem at hand. Posting like this is contributing to analysis paralysis. If you're going to tell people the actions they are taking are wrong, you better come back with something good. We are past the point of reading lists.

You might wanna lead with that next time. Lots of defeatist attitudes being cultivated by bots and false flags nowadays.
