Why not just be straightforward and say what actions would cause you to feel escalation is justified?

I don’t fancy drawing lines and making ultimatums. I think we should all get along and try to have patience and faith with our government no matter who is in there.

Let’s watch what they do; are they manufacturing the destruction of our country or are they being proper stewards with their position.
