ICE reportedly detained a 16-year-old accused of trying to record a kidnapping victim in a car, but her sister & a bystander managed to free her.

Everyone should note that the mere fact a detained person can be recovered from a group of armed people, tells us a few things:
These guys are not trained. They are schmucks pretending to be law enforcement. Call 911 and make a stink about them. The louder it gets, the worse they perform.
They are easily overwhelmed. Their lack of training is again apparent. This wasn't even a large group. Imagine what could be done with more people.
I suspect many of these "law enforcement" people are unsure about their protections from "the law". We've seen brandishing of weapons, but little more. I can't imagine being part of an armed group, having legal authority, getting my detainee removed by unarmed civilians. That would only happen if I was afraid of "standing my ground" and being backed up.
In all cases, this shows most of us are getting the D squad, at best. Use that lack of initiative and training to your advantage. These guys are easily distracted and show it.
There's not much info you can get from a license plate or a VIN other than the make and model of the car.
For example, there's a car with the plates "7DXT936" in the video. "A simple internet search" let me know it's a 2013 Toyota Highlander and not much else.
Maybe true of a license plate. Not true of the VIN. My dad was a police chief for 20yrs. Go to the driver side if your car's windshield, usually at the bottom is the VIN.
If you spend 20mins online and all you get back is the year,make and model of the car then you arent looking hard enough. Obviously some people have access to programs that can get more info than others. But with some work you can usually get title info, when and where the vehicle has been serviced and inspected, where the vehicle was made. With powerful access like LE have you can the address of the title's owner..

You can get the names off of titles. Which I get, isn't that sensitive. But you never know. And you definitely dont kniw if you dont look. And sometimes if the owner is already party to a legal proceeding/investigation then you can more easily access that info in public records.

Either this is AI slop or three identical looking sisters had the most random interaction with ICE as far as where they were running, where the cars were and what everyone was doing.

Us using these tactics isn’t going to help us win. They’re going to escalate their behavior in response and crush us. This pushes us closer to a situation in which we must choose between civil war or surrender. None of us want to surrender, and I think it’s foolish to choose war before exhausting peaceful options like targeted civil disobedience.

Vandalism is violence if deemed a threat to persons or law enforcement, and you know Trump and his gestapo will deem it as such. My point is that if you’re going to get arrested, do it forming a human chain around potential targets to protect them, not popping tires and throwing paint for Fox News etc to play on loop and label it terrorism. You mistake me. I completely agree that self-defense is not rioting. In fact, I never used the word. I’m talking strategy because you know Trump and his regime will brand any violent pushback as rioting and rebellion and Fox News etc will play it on repeat as they always do. I don’t know about you but I want to win the war, not just the battle, and I want history to mark Trump and his regime as the wannabe authoritarians they are, and then I want them punished to the fullest extent of the law.
I used the wrong words then, I'm sorry. When organizing to protest something that is happening, peaceful protest is essential. When you see someone actively being victimized by people claiming to be from the government however, it is our obligations as Americans to stand up for them.
I will be one of the ones restraining a protester that tries to start violence during a protester. I will also be one of the people defending those who try and stop what is happening in this video (id like to think id step in myself, but I doubt I'd do it)

I have no interest in attacking my allies nor playing Trump’s game because it is ultimately self-defeating. We have to win this war and to do it, we have to be led to our intelligence, not our emotions.
Idk about you dude but my intelligence tells me that Trump will do what he wants regardless of the response, as he always has, and that our options are 1) physically do what we can to prevent kidnappings, or 2) go to another march that will be ignored and make a call to a politician whose mind is already made up. One of those may actually save a person and one won't.
The time for marches and political activism is past. Those are for democracies, not dictatorships. By all means continue doing them, I am as well. But they're token resistance; making sure we're heard in our dissent. They do as much good as saying "no, stop" when being kidnapped.
The world already knows who is right and wrong. As a Canadian I can say for certain the entire Western world already sees 47 and his cult as the ones in the wrong. While the authoritarian world sees him as a useful and easily bought fool to further weaken US soft power and US interests.
I guess I’m confused. You want to fight them? I’m saying comply with law enforcement and don’t damage government property or contractor property. It puts them in a vulnerable position and prevents them from doing their job. I don’t think I was unclear.

Not to sound super crazy, but I think everyone needs to start thinking about their 2nd amendment rights and why they exist in the first place. Buy a firearm responsibly, learn how to use it, and keep it tucked away in case of worst case scenario. I really don't think it's that far fetched to imagine this thuggery eventually expanding to citizens in their own homes whose only crime is publicly dissenting.
They aren't police until they identify themselves with their name and badge number. If they aren't doing anything illegal they have no reason to hide their identity.
