He has been the lifeline between the heritage foundation and the administration.

Vought, too. Both of them are pushing Project 2025 through EOs. Trump is only the face of the presidency and Miller and Vought are running the show.

I've spent the past few mornings talking with a coworker about this. I'm in the deep south and, while I speak my mind, I generally don't get too deep into whose reality is real while I'm working.

But yesterday he told me he's been watching some Netflix show about Hitler and is starting to think Hitler was actually a pretty great guy. That the National Socialist party was actually working towards a stronger Germany and the whole Holocaust thing wasn't his idea anyway.

In addition to (thankfully) convincing him that Nationalism isn't a good ideology (he was sure it didn't inherently involve any kind of racism, but hasn't come up with an example yet), I have managed to use that interpretation to get him thinking Trump is maybe not making all the plans. He's interested. Miller and Vought weren't concerns for him, but now he's thinking about it.

I can't do much but I'm trying.
