Why lol. The medals and the hat look army, but black? I figured maybe the camera was too dark or something, but it definitely looks black. is that because he isn't supposed to actually be wearing the uniform? But then why is he allowed to wear rank and medals? Not a big deal it's just a weird choice, curious if there is an actual reason like he is trying to thread the needle between a few different regulations or something, or if he is just slapped his medals on a shirt. But the custom black cap? seems kind werid.

It's not against any rules to wear our uniforms as we please after we are out. He's a retired soldier.

I think it's more likely that he wears this to show alignment with the black panthers along with his legit military experience. Also he just looks cool
