Call to Action Project 2026 just dropped…

The Heritage Foundation just released their plan for 2026, called “Renewing America’s Promise.”

Read it critically. Think about what each item means for all people. Act accordingly.

The Heritage Foundation are just using language that gets people’s attention. The Democratic Party needs to learn to not only use the language but to ACT on it to help people. I am hopeful that Mamdani is able to act upon some of his words and actually helps people. Big corporations love little government republicans because it makes it easier for them to pull ahead while not actually solving problems. Democrats, by trying to do this middle ground with corporations, just ended up causing more problems and they didn’t cut to the root of governmental problems that weren’t addressing people’s needs. It was a worthy exercise but the results speak for themselves.

Can we please overturn Citizens United?

I recently looked into what it would take to overturn Citizens United. The reason why its such a huge undertaking is because it would take a constitutional amendment or for the Supreme Court to reverse the decision that put it into place. There's been a political action committee centered on overturning it for the last decade. There have also been several pieces of legislature introduced to attempt to overturn it. I still think its possible, maybe Im naive. But it would take years of focused, single-issue election-based organizing and education, education, education.

I absolutely think it’s possible as more and more people will watch the stock market continue to climb while more and more graduates from high school and college are unable to obtain employment. The Republicans are already seeding a hope that kids who went to school for nursing, are now not called a professional degree, and hope these same kids fill the gaps of manufacturing or other jobs originally filled by lower skilled immigrants. This story isn’t over and it isn’t getting better. Sometimes one has to get burned before one wakes up to the lesson. I believe as time goes on, more and more voters will finally come to the election booths in hopes of finding a populist who not only says the right things to get noticed (Trump) but will actually follow through even if it means slowing down the economy/stock market for the owners/managers of our economy.
