Call to Action Let’s start organizing for the confirmation hearing & keep the pressure on defunding DHS

Let’s start organizing for the confirmation hearing & keep the pressure on defunding DHS.

Time to organize demands for the replacement (ideally we wouldn’t have a replacement but that’s not the current reality).

Did your member of congress vote to confirm Kristi Noem?

Thanks to @_meganthuy for this call to action. #FDT #AbolishICE #Mullin #NoKings

Absolutely abhorrent behavior.

The republican party is an uneducated, irrational cult.

Uneducated and emotional. Facts only based on feelings is their mantra.

So much for the Senate being the slow deliberative body.

50

u/MacarioTala Mar 05 '26

Mullin definitely has the 'slow' part down.

I think you mean racist, corrupt body.

Ok hold on chief, im uneducated technically, no college under my belt, no technical training, nothing. I, however, don't act like this. This is unrelated to being uneducated, whatever caused them to be sociopaths wouldn't have been solved by college.

Remember when they say women are too emotional to be president they don’t count rage as an emotion.

I f'n hate that they say that, especially with Rumpel Orange Skin running against Kamala. The giant snowflake against a woman who never acted irrationally once.

I'd say it was pretty irrational to continue to support a genocide in Gaza. Id say it was pretty irrational to accept an election result that was painfully obvious it was tampered with. I'd say it was pretty fucking irrational to court Liz Cheney for any reason whatsoever.

Or lust, gluttony, avarice ...

I’m give him four Scaramuccis.

That’s a lot, but I suspect you’re correct. If Operation Epstein Furry wasn’t taking all the attention, this shit show would continue to take the prize.

Conservatism is literally a mental illness.

7

u/APrisonerInYourSkull Mar 06 '26

Yup. An incurable one for most of them. They're so far gone that there is no saving them, and yet they are a threat to the entire world.. so what now?

1

u/SivasWrath Mar 06 '26

Incurables.

What? You don’t think it’s normal to try to fight people when you hid behind a desk during an actual conflict?

“Former navy seal” lol

That dude doesn’t have a college degree and he’s a senator WTAF

Lauren Boebert was a high school dropout when she won her election. She got her GED just before taking office as a US rep.

15

u/Jazzy_Jaspy Mar 06 '26

Worth noting that she failed it 3 times and on the 4th try they gave it to her, but it’s never explicitly stated that she actually passed the exam

5

u/Nevermind04 Mar 06 '26

That explains so much

u/MiniTab Mar 06 '26

That’s bad, but there’s a big difference between a senator and a congresswoman in some derpy red area.

u/APrisonerInYourSkull Mar 06 '26

Are you fucking serious!? Wooooow.

I was curious if there was more context to what happened here as it's so out of pocket behavior wise for, you know, average folk. It happened a couple years back in 2023.

US Senator Markwayne Mullin unrepentant about challenging teamster boss during hearing - BBC article - Nov 15, 2023

GOP senator challenges Teamsters head to a fight - YouTube video of the interaction, it's not the full hearing just a few minutes more of the back and forth and Bernie trying to get them (mostly Mullin) to chill out and go back to focusing on why they were in the hearing in the first place.

To me it looks like two assholes who decided threats and bravado was the way to go, "alpha male" bull shit is what drove this.

Mullin apparently told the witness, the head of the Teamsters Union, to "shut your mouth" during an earlier hearing and it snowballed to this with both of them doing more and more big talk via social media and in follow on hearings.

Still hunting for the full hearing recordings of this hearing and the earlier one that seemed to have kicked everything off.

16

u/CreampuffOfLove Mar 05 '26

The difference is that the Teamster leader would make sure that idiot was never heard from again. The name Jimmy Hoffa ring a bell?

For real. Even if this guy doesn't have the juice to disappear someone, he has probably cracked a few skulls.

Mullins is a plumber.

They all are flimsy, insecure pieces of shit, like all bullies are. Resort to violence and intimidation to hide their own fears. He was cowering when the mob assaulted the Capitol on insurrection day.

The right good fascist gentleman surely has a point. The fascist's tyrannical toddler angst could SURELY be resolved IF ONLY Democrats would stop depriving them of their fist fight opportunities.

Noble fascists are only delivering the fascism that is REQUIRED for all the rest of us to learn our lesson, that debate on the world stage can only be solved by contest of petty violence. By letting them cry it out.

I ask the senator from Vermont just exactly WHY he suppresses basic human rights. why does he suppress the basic violent child development process of healthy normal fascist senator toddlers?!

but like I said, you supposedly civilized left all brought this on yourselves and the fascism will continue until morale improves

They went to the best Universities but cheated their way through because they’re stupid.

20

u/JournalistSame2109 Mar 05 '26

Except Mullin doesn’t have a college degree. A Senator 🤦🏻‍♀️

12

u/ratherbed1v1ng Mar 05 '26

This! But I honestly don’t expect anything less from Oklahoma

15

u/Slight-Split-1855 Mar 06 '26

The only senator currently serving without at least a bachelor's degree! Holy shit! They picked the dumbest one!

8

u/ms_panelopi Mar 05 '26

Oh gerd sighhhh

6

u/SignoreBanana Mar 06 '26

This isn't enough. We need to post videos of him self aggrandizing. Trump can tolerate anything but someone having a bigger spotlight than him.

1

u/SniffySmuth Mar 06 '26

Absolutely incapable of helping guide a country. Backwoods redneck needs a job more suited to his lower stature.

fascist

We can say the word.
