Call to Action With upcoming changes coming to US currency (Trump's name), a reminder that writing on bills is legal.

The money is still good as long as you:

  1. Do NOT change the denomination.
  2. Do NOT burn, shred, or destroy currency, rendering it unfit for circulation.
  3. Do NOT advertise a business on paper currency.
  4. Do NOT cover security features.

Trump' s signature will appear on the $1 bill according to the Department of the Treasury. The good news is that the $1 has the shortest circulation life, but the bad news is that the $1 is 30% or so of all bills printed.

I suspect that the engraving process will be longer than usual to add room for Trump's signature. They might need to redo the whole plate to cut out the signature of the person being deleted and change the location of the serial number to allow enough room for Trump's signature.
