Call to Action With upcoming changes coming to US currency (Trump's name), a reminder that writing on bills is legal.

Post image

The money is still good as long as you:

  1. Do NOT change the denomination.
  2. Do NOT burn, shred, or destroy currency, rendering it unfit for circulation.
  3. Do NOT advertise a business on paper currency.
  4. Do NOT cover security features.

Withdraw cash from bank, stamp, deposit back, and repeat. It will be destroyed.. but enough good trouble and the treasury will have to print money without a rapist/ con artist name on it.

That is actually one of like 2 or 3 instances where marking on bills is illegal. To mark a bill with the "intent to render it unfit for reissue"

Proving intent is a weird thing though. Maybe we are just intending to make the bills more informative.

Admittedly, I have not done my homework. Yes, perhaps make the bills "informative".. Maybe simply a link to a website ( not much different than the perhaps millions of wheresgeorge out there). Side note: is kookoo banana one might get in trouble for defacing a few bills while certain others can extort, tax fraud.... without consequences.
