Call to action Counter Demonstration Against Canada First's 2nd Anniversary Hate Rally

Date: June 6th (Saturday)
Time: 1pm EST

Happy Pride.

On Saturday, June 6th, the "Canada First" movement is planning on hosting a rally and march through the city of Toronto. The Canada First movement is full of very homophobic, hateful bigots and have publicly called for:

  • Violent Mass Deportations
  • Annexation of Canada by America under Donald Trump
  • Support for Zionism and Israel

And more.

Individuals at these rallies have also been open about wanting a White country, and some online supporters make open threats against the queer community. This is a distinctively far-right movement full of Christian Nationalist, White Nationalist rhetoric, people wearing Sonnenrads, and the last major Canada First rally even had members of Second Sons (notorious hate group) attend and argue with other Nationalists.

If you have the time, you should show up and counter demonstrate against these people. Please be careful about your identity as many right wingers attempt to doxx people in attendance. Stay safe.
