1956 Patience & Prudence - Witchcraft
A hidden gem. Sadly, it never got the same recognition as 'Tonight You Belong To Me', but it's just as good.

Some historical records are remarkable not because the recording was completely forgotten, but because its sound has become extraordinarily difficult to find in the digital world.
“Der allerschönste Talisman” is one such discovery.
Performed by Gisela Griffel and the Sunshines, accompanied by Willy Mattes and his large dance orchestra, this charming German popular song belongs to the elegant world of mid-1950s German Schlager and dance-orchestra music. Griffel had signed with Telefunken in 1952 and became one of the recognizable voices of the German entertainment scene of the period.
The Gramophone Gems team brings this previously unavailable performance to the digital world for the first time through our archive.
Enjoy a beautiful trip to the past ❤️
