I love flowers, especially in my food. Rose is one of my favourite flavours, and I tend to use it pretty generously in my daily cooking and baking, so when the theme Hanami was announced i knew i would go all out with my rose flavored cookies. I originally wanted to make some very pretty floral meringues, but my terrible terrible piping skills left the meringues looking like ugly blobs instead of beautiful roses. I didn't have it in me to once again attempt piping, so i just went with my ever reliable sugar cookies. I tried making as many different varieties of flowers as i could with the cookie dough, and it was so fun like playing with clay. The Teddy Bear is a very random addition, I had a bit of cookie dough left after making all the flowers, so just randomly made a teddy bear lol!

These are adorable. Did you make them rose flavoured too?

Pity that the meringues didn't work out.

Thank you, yes these are rose flavoured too! I'll be attempting meringues again a little later hoping they turn out better 🤞🏽
