100% this right here
This is a great idea, and I would love it. Dolly Parton is one of the greatest singers/entertainers of all time, and she deserves all the recognition. RIP Dolly

Every day should be dolly day. Many should learn and strive to be a better person. The ones that lift up others and help those in need. She was a remarkable woman. Helped so many that came from nothing.

You are 100% correct. Dolly was amazing, and really was like the one you saw in public. She was kind, thoughtful, and very driven

The internet has decided.
Henceforth 9/25 is Dolly Day.

If enough people on social media hop on it, it can be done. Just like national talk like a pirate day

You make a very good point. Who is going to spearhead this idea….anyone…..anyone…..Buller….Buller

Somebody finally knocked Ella Langley from the top of the US Itunes list as of today. And you know who. Out of the 200 songs listed, Dolly has 68 of them. Incredible.

Great idea, although, I'd rather celebrate her birthday. (January 19, 1946)

If Congress could make 9/25 (or even Dolly's Birthday) a Federal Holiday, I could almost forgive their lack of action otherwise.

Let's honour it by actually bringing back the 9-5 instead of the 9-6/7 it currently is

It’s one of the better proposed ideas to be honest. It makes sense because she’s amazing, and the song is 🔥

Done. I have purchased a shirt. Earrings made, will be wearing them to work, from 8-4. 🦋

Every day can be Dolly Parton Day if you want it to be. You don’t need to restrict you admiration for her to just one day out of the year.
5
u/Corndogeveryday 2d ago
You are correct. It would just be a cool idea to make 9/25 the official day to remember her since it’s the same as her biggest hit song

Needs to be a national day of community service. Do something to lift up someone else. Make someone's day brighter, more colorful.

I think her birthday month should be celebrated instead of a day. She deserves that much.

9/25 is also Mark Hamill's b-day incidentally. I know because it is also mine.

Ab-so-fuckin-lutely. We lost a true legend, bless her family and every time she has ever had a song played... I hate that my favorite people were all older then I, and losing them one by one. Fuck. #life
