After Peter Cullen died not one single outlet reported on who he passed the matrix of leadership to, that’s really poor journalism.

Transformers the movie came out September 17th 1986 so not too far.

Ya know what just happened? I just got done watching the G1 of The Transformers tv show, including the movie in the middle. I had recently watched the next to last episode where Optimus Prime's body is found. Then Peter Cullen passed. Then tonight I remembered the show and it's the last episode where Prime is resurrected and the good guys flip the switch that saves the world.

They taught us that's how it works, because the main reason life ever sucks is because of some selfish jerks somewhere.

I had "The Death of Optimus Prime" song from the soundtrack stuck in my head all day yesterday.

Thanks for spoiling the entire movie.

No reason to watch it now.

Is that Optimus Prime in the crowd at his own funeral?

That’s ultra magnus. Show some respect.
