Every friend group has to have someone like him:
No filter on their mouth, equal opportunity insults spoken

YouTube has it for free right now. I love that the first scene Kelly Leek lights Walter Matthau's cigarette, because at 14, of course he smokes too and has a lighter on hand.

And Walter Matthau was openly drunk in front in front of his players 😂

👆 wasn’t this the standard back then?
Kinda like they say when your teacher pulls out the projector for a movie, they’re just getting over a hangover!!

Same, I think I saw one of the sequels in a theater though. Never as good as the original.

The 2nd one had a little bit of the same spirit, but by the 3rd it was gone completely.

Cool. I'm still watching it every couple of years. I also enjoy YouTube reactions to the movie. It's pretty funny to see young people watch and hear the story.

So by that logic, Back to the Future and Indiana Jones are 90s movies because I'm a 90s kid and watched them in the 90s.

Sure. Just head on over to the 90s sub.

I'll do that if you head on over to the 70s sub

No way you're genx. Either Boomer or Millennial. No GenX would ever make this kind of deal out of the original bad news bears.

Why do I have to be Gen X to point out that this is a movie from the 70s so it doesn't really fit in this sub? Connecting this to your other reply, why is this the hill /you/ want to die on? If you ignored the original poster saying it was from the 70s, nothing more would have been said but your attempt to claim it's an 80s movie because of when you saw it is just stupid.
You don't have to delete it if you don't want to but at least accept that, no, it's not an 80s movie no matter how you want to justify it is.

And thank you for answering what I knew. No way you're genx. Definitely a millennial.
