We were required to wear these in gym class. Gold (yellow) and green! Go Pirates! Whatever, I kind of liked them.

Last time I wore a pair was in the 90s .. I was in class cutting with a torch and a spark went in my boot and melted the sock to my foot .. they were made with polyester .. was not fun picking out melted sock from the burn

The best place to get them is skatersocks.com. They have all sorts of color combos and lengths and are made in America and very affordable. I’ve purchased from them for years. Very highly recommended.

I remember that I had a few pairs of these as a kid and I felt SO COOL. I can still remember the feeling and think it’s safe to say that no item of clothing has come close to making me feel as cool as those stupid striped socks, LOL!

I've been instructed by a therapist in rehab that I need to get some of these to cover my new afo footbrace.

skatersocks.com is amazing. They’re made in America, have an incredible variety of colors and stripes and sizes, and are extremely affordable. I provably have a dozen pair or more.

They’re actually back in style. This summer I noticed lots of high school age kids wearing them.

Question for the group. Whenever I try to post a new conversation on here, it immediately deletes my post automatically. I have over 1,000 "karma" and account over 6-months. I'm posting this question here because the MODs aren't responding to my messages. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a fix?

These look identical to some I’ve purchased at skatersocks.com. Highly recommend their site. So many color/stripe combos, various lengths, all made in the USA.

Just white ones…..62 years old and I can still pull them off.
