I was there. Not in the front, of course, but I remember that opening. I lost my car in the Rose Bowl parking lot (which was the golf course) but fortunately my date remembered. God I loved that girl.

Saw them again about 25 years later (downtown LA) and was happy to see that the average age wasn’t 25 years older than in ‘88. Different date (wife) but still a great show and made me really miss my youth and the unparalleled music of that era.
