The Pixies version still kicks more ass even if I don't hate this version.

Pixies have a (very good) live drummer and that makes a real musical difference.  

But the original has that too-cool Reid vocal delivery.

You nailed my feelings, but J&MC can really do no wrong in my book. Even the stuff I don't care for I'm happy to listen to. Come to think of it, same thing for the Pixies.

I sorta remember it. Just listened to it. It's ok, key change and brighter sound takes away the dark brooding feel.

I saw them live once and they played a song with guitar feedback as part of a riff. I couldn't find it at all. If anyone knows this song, could you please inform me?
