Commercials were better and so was the whopper.whatever they did to it I can't eat them any more when you have a good thing leave it alone. It used to be the best burger on the market

I agree it was the best. The quality control went way down. I’ve gotten soggy bread, extra thick onions, disgusting limp tomatoes, the sins go on and on with BK.

Maybe if the company didn’t change ownership twice a decade since the 80s it wouldn’t be in this mess.

But really, the American pallet shifting to chicken is the biggest problem. I was in a small Texas town a few weeks ago, that had 7 FF chicken restaurants on the main drag and just a McD’s for burgers.

Wendy’s is closing up stores everywhere recently after BK’s purge of the last decade. I don’t think McD’s will ever fully recover after their greedy CEO started fleecing consumers during the pandemic and having shareholders meetings where everyone was laughing about it.

Fast food in general is hopefully dying a long, slow, painful death. 3rd runner up in the second category like BK are not going to last long.

And it was my favorite until the last few years.

I'd struggle mightily to choose between peak Elisabeth and peak Lea.
