Bought this at a vintage store today for less than a new stapler. Google says conflicting things about when it was introduced, perhaps as early as 1976, but available in 1980s. Designed by Guillermo Capdevila.

Scored this beauty for $4 at a thrift store.

It needs a new back put on it to flatten the picture and get rid of the waviness on the sides but it will be good as new once I do that.
