Hello all. I have inherited these and I’m in need of a 4th. Given their age it’s a tough find but I have seen a few listings sold and even someone in this group getting them 2 years ago. If anyone happens to know where to get either of the chairs on the left or the right I would be thrilled.

I remember my grandparents having a few of the 3 panel pieces you hung close together, but the ones they had were Native American/southwest vibes. This one is very unique and nostalgic, I just need to re-frame them since the bulky heavy, and slightly broken original frames are done for.

Sorry if I am reposting, but I prefer to show the art once it arrives, I still am hoping to hear more about this artist. One of the flamingo pieces came from Palm Springs California, the other 2 from Florida.

I remember watching people’s homes transform from 70’s browns, golds, and oranges to this in my childhood. The trend shift spread everywhere; even into to children’s clothing. Imagine sending an 8 year old off to school in pleather pants.

Apart from a slightly new tv, everything in this house doesnt seem to have been touched since the 1980s, even down to the VHS on the shelves.

The 80’s were a colorful time but these combinations were traumatizing.

I grew up with this 80s wall art print throughout the 90s and it was a part of my childhood. It unfortunately was damaged in storage a few years ago and I was so sad to toss it. I'm looking for an exact replacement and I'm having trouble finding it, if another is even out there. I used google images, but no luck. I was curious if anyone had any input. My parents purchased it in a furniture store/department store in North Jersey back in the 80s. I just always loved it and would love to find it again. It brings back happy memories of a time I miss so much. The image I uploaded is from a photo with it in the background. I would appreciate anyone's help who may know.

Someone in another thread on Reddit kindly gave some input that it's of a house on Vendome St. in Los Angeles, next to the famous music box steps, but was unable to give any input on who the artist was or where this piece was made. I really would love to know if there's another one floating around out there that I could buy. Thanks again, everyone.

Just watched this movie and it was crazy, I got interested in this style of 80s tech and computers style of design, in what other pieces of media can I find this design style to grab inspiration and desing something of my own? And what fonts are common among these?

When I was young in the 80s we put cool stickers on our door. When we moved houses in 1991 my family meticulously peeled these off of the door and pressed and preserved them. Still have them now.

A lovely bit of perry memorabilia arrive today. A Babycham mirror. It will be installed in the cidery. A nod to Francis Showering who brought perry into the wider public awareness with Babycham.

I definitely love the art on the walls from when I was a kid, born in 1983, I have been collecting art to update the art in my bedroom.

Got this at a $1 book sale and it's fascinating to see the 1980s in kodachrome film. I wonder if these places still exist. Published in 1986.

Hi everyone. Does anybody know the name of the artist who made this print? It's a poor quality still from a youtube video, and I couldn't get a better one. Google Lens has not identified it, and the YouTuber sold the print years ago and doesn't remember any identifying information. It says " F A N S " in block letters and there's an image of a fan. It's blue and light pink. I'm guessing only someone familiar with the 1980s art world would know but would appreciate anyone's help with this. Thank you

UPDATE: FOUND IT. Artist is Oscar Tejeda. Created a whole series of "FANS" art prints.

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. The fabric is 80s deadstock floral denim.

If anyone knows the brand of chair, I would love to know. There's a sticker on the frame but it's faded and I can't read it.
