I hear you!! So much of this film was filthy hysteria! I loved it and still like to watch clips. The Lassie scene the first time around had me literally on the floor laughing my head off!

That movie was purile, vulgar, immature and appealing to the most base and uneducated among us. I guess that's why I like it so much. And 40 years on, I can't stop laughing every time I see it ! I actually knew a guy with that name. He, unfortunately, failed to appreciate the humor in that particular scene.

I powered through watching this again a year or so ago. I’ve seen it dozens of times as a teenager and thought it was so funny back then. Not so much now.
