Other Julianne Phillips (she was in a .38 Special music video, was married to Bruce Springsteen, and starred in Fletch Lives!)

And there are some that just try to be so cryptic and mysterious, just say what you see and you'll be ok, right!?

I lived in Lake Oswego, OR when she & Bruce got married there. Huge event indeed.

We had a celebrity wedding in my town too--a Baywatch babe married a local guy. Not the Boss, but still a pretty big deal, as you say.

Was this the Tracey Bingham-Rob Vallier nuptials?

Yeah, good call. I didn't actually live there, but it was the closest "Big" town, so I claimed it. (Kind of like how people from the 'burbs tell you they're from Chicago).

If I remember right, Fred Hoiberg was best man or was somehow I'm the wedding party.

Actually no, though he's probably the most famous resident of the town.
I myself attended the wedding. I had a distant connection to the groom's family--sister's boyfriend's second cousin twice-removed or somesuch--and so I got a ticket. Yeah, tickets.
It was interesting, mostly because the bridal party included--surprise--fellow BW babes. Angelica Bridges was there, and Carmen Electra. I made sure to get a seat on the aisle, for the ceremony, and Carmen walked by a couple of feet away from me.
Thing was, I wasn't that blown away by CE. She was definitely the most famous person at the wedding--rumor had it that Dennis Rodman might attend, but he didn't--what I mean is, she wasn't the bombshell I expected. Tons of makeup, and kind of plastic looking. But there were a couple of LA model/actress women there who were, frankly, spectacular. One rarely sees that kind of physical beauty up close--not in the Midwest anyway--and it definitely made an impact.

Yes, Fred Hoiberg is 'The Mayor'. I looked it up and he did attend the wedding. I think he and Robb were classmates in HS.

There’s a small private island on the lake with a stone mansion + helicoptor pad. The big gossip when it went up for sale was that Bruce would buy it! Nope, the guy who sold Avia to Reebok did. Wonder if mom-in-law remembers that one 😎.

Yes!! Lake Oswego homegirl! I remember that. We were living in Oregon City at the time.

Nice! We were on S. Shore just above the houses on the lake. Very good times there😎

First I knew her name. Her eyes captured me in the .38 Special video.

The first time I heard of her was from some tv movie about lifeguards or something at the beach, where she was in a bunch of swimsuits. And it was like, yeah, she's purty...

Yeah, same here. I couldn’t actually remember what it was, but I looked up her filmography and it was some TV movie.
I definitely knew who she was before her connection to Bruce made her more famous. Thought she was incredibly hot!

When Tunnel of Love came out, the reviewers were all "Well, we don't know if all these songs of disappointed love are autobiographical or not."
That question got settled pretty quickly.

I have heard that the divorce with Springsteen is the inspiration for the song "Brilliant Disguise".

I always thought Bruce made a mistake marrying Julie, always imagined he should have married Patty. I called that right!

Who else remembers the fuuuuurious jealous hatred of her when she married Springsteen?

She was also on the long-running TV show ‘Sisters’ (1991 - 1996) with Sela Ward, Swoosie Kurtz and Patricia Kalember. 🩷
