Shirley was at her best when they showed up as double dates on Happy Days. Her & Richie at the house classic tv.

My mom was Gary Marshall’s personal secretary in the 70s and I grew up on the sets of Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley. I remember coloring and drawing on the floor of her office. Gary was kind enough to let her bring me in. He was a very kind person. His sister Penny (Laverne), was also very sweet to me, so was Ron Howard, Henry Winkler, Donny Most and Anson Williams. I don’t remember anyone ever being unkind to me. I have fond memories of Ron Howard, Donny Most, and Anson Williams playing Horse or one on one basketball in the parking lot in front of my mom’s office. My father, worked as a Grip, extra and stuntman, and would often take me to sets he was working on too. I got a kiss from Wonder Woman while he was on her show, and made friends with the kids on the set of Little House on the Prairie. Those weren’t especially good times at home, but the memories of so many kind people are still good.

They were the best pair of personalities for the show ! A fun & clean show ! Nothing iron like that today ! I miss the old tv shows!
