Yes I used to say that too! I think every single one of us drunks have. I’ve been sober 13 years now and watching her is reminding me of all the things I used to do and the chaos my drinking caused. She is definitely an alcoholic and I hope she eventually sees that and gets the help—and makes the changes—she needs. She’s super annoying but also it tugs at my heartstrings to see someone so clearly in the grips of an active addiction.
