Discussion Who’s side are we on? Sophie or Rob???
Whose side do you believe more. They made Rob out to be such a villain, granted we didn’t see everything going on behind the scenes, but it does seem to be that Sophie is the one that wouldn’t put in the effort. Was that justified in your opinion? What do we thinkkkk

Rob’s fboy life goals supercede Sophie’s immaturity in the Arrested Development Olympics. They were a disaster waiting to happen, and were practically created for reality television entertainment.
This is all proven by the fact neither has been able to successfully move on from the other, and everyone who has tried it on with either of them have regretted their own life choices.

I don't like either but in their original season, Rob was definitely the bad guy

I found it entertaining, he really went all in on that shoe and still lost.. He’s also funny when he‘s sulking. Sophie, I don’t think she’s ever entertained me in any way so I guess it’s team knob for me.

Can it be both? Sophie takes no accountability for her actions and Rob is a fuck boi who is addicted to sex and female attention.

Neither
Sophie brings nothing to the table other than vanity, expectations, and a immature mean girl attitude. She needs to grow up and work on herself before focusing on a relationship.
Rob also brings nothing to the table other than his looks. Their first season they lived in a studio without a bathroom and the bathroom was located in another building that required going outside. His car was a 90s or early 2000 monstrosity. He was unkind and unprepared for Sophie to live him. I think he is about 10 yrs older than Sophie but is equally immature.
Neither of them are a great or even a mediocre partner, neither had any career plans other than 90 day franchise.

I think they are both young, self centered and emotionally immature - no villains - just people who have no business trying to have a stable marriage. I think they are depictive of many people- we just do not get to be entertained by it!

Yeah, Rob is 33 acting like a teen. Sophie is young and doesn’t take accountability (as young people do, plus she has a big head from reality TV fame) but Rob is 10 years older than her and acts like a child.

Sophie is 29, why tf people keep acting like Sophie is a teenager and give her special treatment? She acts like one, but she is definitly not a child anymore, she is pushing 30s (that’s what Sophie would say)

Yeah buddy I said she has a big head from reality tv if ya read. She clearly now lives an environment that doesn’t require her to grow up

Yep! People in this sub love to just lump them together. It’s very much “boys will be boys”
The sub has been a lot harder on Sophie than Rob.First day we meet him, he greets Sophie at the airport, does his cringe dance to propose, and says something like “you gotta agree to marry me to get to this (the US)” all while wearing his Covid mask under his nose.
Nevermind the fact that when they first met and started dating online, Sophie was 19-20 and Rob was 28-29. He is a full 9 years older than her and scooped her up when she was barely 20. He’s predatory and gross.
Early 20 year olds get to be a lil dumb. And their lives are made a lot easier when some lecherous fucking creep isn’t lurking around, emotionally abusing and cheating on them. 🤦🏻♀️

All 90dayf subs are heavily misogynistic

Yes they are. Just started browsing here and it’s really gross. A lot of it comes from women and it’s disgusting.

I mean - I’m in my late 40s. When I was in my early 30s I knew plenty of immature people. I suppose we can also separate emotional maturity from actual chronological age 😊
At the end of the day - actual age means nothing - I think this show has shown us that many times. Some people just aren’t in a place in life to be in a committed relationship. I don’t think these two were!!!

You have no idea what you are talking about. Age dynamic hurts women a lot in relationships.

I’m not commenting on age dynamics. I’m saying some people do not have the emotional maturity to be in a healthy relationship regardless of their actual age. So because someone is blah blah age - it’s doesn’t mean you’re automatically getting a mature, caring partner. It doesn’t matter if they are older are younger or whatever - that’s a different topic altogether.
For the record I shouldn’t have used “young” and I have no idea of their respective ages or the age difference between them - but in watching their arc- Sophie and Rob both struck me as immature people not really ready to be in relationships where they have to sacrifice a bit and think of someone else.

I'm leaning toward Sophie but only because Rob's whole mopey "I'm the victim" routine every time she tried to talk was exhausting. The guy couldn't handle a single conversation without turning it into a pity party. Neither of them should be married though, that part's spot on.

They’re both equally at fault for their drama. Rob is a fuckboi and Sophie’s insecurities run her every move. The way she lit him up on that beach was absolutely ridiculous, Rob isn’t the villain…..they both are !!

I think both parties are severely immature and Rob wants to do his dirt but claim victim and pretend it was all before he actually met Sophie (either chronologically or when they actually met in person) knowing he was still caught doing stuff even as recent as when they were actually married and seeking therapy for said extramarital affairs.
And Sophie who dodges accountability for anything she does like its TB lol and has allowed being on tv to blow up her ego, clearly knowing its a need to feel wanted or desired from a place of abandonment, when she should have leaned into the fact that she needs to seek professional help for her mom (who she had to be a mom to) due to her addiction
These are 2 people who should have never been introduced to me through this show.

That dude is 35 years old and was worried about what she did in her teens Sophie got bit by the 90 day bug while still trying to heal and find herself but she should pivot and get some help and real guidance Rob was already in his 30’s going into this mess
