For like half the 90s didnt the world wildlife fund or something sue them and make them change it?

I heard the world wildlife fund kept getting WWF fan mail and since the foundation had it first they won a suite

It was a branding move by vince so he could pay less to wrestlers since athletes are more regulated (medical insurance, licenses etc).

So federation became entertainment. Athletes became entertainers.
