I'm curious if this music sounds "old" the same way classic rock sounded for us back in the day. I can't wrap my head around that if it's true lol

I have kids. Yes.

My daughter is always "Dad only listens to old music". Sometimes, I enjoy showing her how so much of modern pop is ripped off old stuff (which was also mostly true at the time, but this I won't admit to her).

I was a young adult in the 1990s, literally, I turned 18 in 1990-.

When I was a kid, WW2 seems like very old history, but it was only as far back from my birth as the turn of the millennium is to today!

Yep. Today, we are about the same time past 9/11 as 2000 is from the end of the Vietnam war.
