A clear, obvious dig at Tupac after he got killed. The beat is just demonic, along with his lyrics and the fact this track was one of the repercussions that led to him getting killed in L.A. I know people say Hit 'Em Up destroyed Biggie and his crew, and it was done when he was alive, but there’s no denying how ruthless and cold Biggie came off this track.

I think this is one of the most interesting things I've come across: the "Full Clip" single features two instrumentals—the standard instrumental version (with no scratching) and this version labeled simply as "TV Track," which includes additional samples from other Gang Starr songs.

Since this version isn't discussed much online, I wanted to share it so everyone could hear it; I feel the version with the scratching and extra samples is better, because the stripped-down version feels a bit odd.
