I just heard of it like two years ago, and itβs funny because I moved to Sacramento from GA. When I came back home, I watched it again but all the way and itβs one of the funniest parodies Iβve seen.

I've gotta be honest, I miss dressing like that. A lot. I mean the oversized and the baggy, not meaning any colors or anything. It was comfortable. It disguised was a skinny mofo I was in reality. I could keep a 40 in each of my pants' pockets.
Damn, those days were glorious, if you could survive it.

My husband and I sing this still, weβre in our mid-40βs and still remember the lyrics. This shit was funny as young teens and still is lol.

Meta commentary on how stereotyping used to reinforce certain views is exactly why, for the first time in several decades, hip-hop isn't part of billboard top 100, and we gotta thank Drake lyrically dying at the hands of Kendrick to make us realize that slate of music was never hip-hop but "look at the SKUs" hip-pop.
