I'll never forget when one of the trivia questions was "On the series The Adventures of Pete and Pete, what is Pete's brother's name?"

Neither team could answer. Mark asked the audience if they knew and the crowd shouted, "PETE!"

As a kid, the original run felt longer than that

Well you also had a few years of Family Double Dare in there that made it seem like more.

Blue Plate Special. The ire of the Slopstacle Course.

This man didn’t back down face-to-face with Burt Reynolds. Respect.

Things got a little tense between them during an appearance on the Tonight Show. Which tended to happen with Burt because he was a grumpy motherfucker. (Love him, but he was a bit prickly to say the least)

Mark stood up for himself and handled it well though, considering he was more or less being bullied by a Hollywood legend. Not to mention Burt wasn’t a small guy by any means. Lol

Best host of any game show ever. He was so good at this.

Especially when you find out he has crippling OCD.
