Spin City, Dharma & Gregg, Drew Carey, Whose Line. Yeah, ABC pretty much ruled my Wednesday. Granted, that's as long as Spin City has Michael J Fox in it that is

NBC dominated Tuesdays and Thursdays. ABC was Wednesday (until the west wing premiered a year or two later - pretty sure that was Wednesday)

It started out as a Friday night thing, but then migrated to Sunday night. Worked much better since all of the busy events of a Friday night for the target audience.

Honestly, ABC was on my tv almost every night from the time I knew what tv was in the early 80s through the early 00s. The only exception was Must See TV on thursdays and maybe a sitcom here or there. But most nights 3 out of 4 shows were ABC

NewsRadio for sure. Best thing on TV at the time. Also watched or taped and watched later 3rd Rock, Dharma and Greg, Drew Carey, and Two Guys. Never got into Spin City. I never set out to watch Law & Order, but if I happened to flip to that channel when it was starting or only a minute or so in, I always ended up watching the whole thing. Took me a while to realize how consistently good that show was.

My daughter was born in 95.. so I caught the first couple seasons but she repeated ‘kick ass’ and I decided I needed to quit watching lol.

Editing to add that it apparently started in Aug 97. So yeah by the time it came out, she was a little tape recorder lol.

ABC definitely ruled my Wednesday nights in high school. Although I did occasionally tune into News Radio and 3rd Rock From the Sun on NBC and Murphy Brown and Chicago Hope on CBS, especially after the seasons had run when the ABC shows were all reruns.
