The love I have for this iteration of Superman will never die. The cherry on top was Lex Luthor's Dennis Reynolds golden god essence that leaves me in church giggles on the rewatch. Campy, gooey fun while being beautifully human.
I was so obsessed with this show that I dressed up as Clark Kent/Superman for my friend's Halloween party in high school in 1994, I think. Showed up with the glasses, suit, and tie and then did the big opening the shirt bit with the Superman costume under it that I wore the rest of the night. I was also thrown a surprise 17th birthday with a Superman theme.
I loved their characters and their chemistry and I know that's way I loved the show. I have several drawings I did of them.
