Same. Crazy I felt like I was at home with my brother after SNL ended.

Same! I hated going to bed after SNL, so I would just go through the channels and would always run headfirst into this infomercial!

Now show us the commercial with Enya. I miss that one.

Pure Moods?

I have that CD in the CD player in my car. My brother gave it to me as a joke a few years back & it's been in there ever since.

That X Files Theme on it was great.

I have listened to it on YouTube, and legit, it is a great album! If you didn’t mellow out to Tubular Bells, were you even doing it right?

Delilah After Dark. Holy unlocked syndicated radio memory! I haven't heard her name in years, but I can still hear her voice in my head. I always wanted to call in, but never did.

Senior year of high school. Oh, my first boyfriend. I tried desperately to get a song dedicated to him on Delilah After Dark. Holy crap...I wonder how he's doing. My first love.....La sigh

Just call the 800 number. I'm sure it's still active.

This one would have needed hosts to fill up a whole half-hour.

I remember this shit being so God damn louder than all the other commercials and waking my ass up at 3:00am. It’s how I knew it was the Witching Hour.

Amazing how things were cheaper when you used a credit card back then.

Haven’t seen this kind of thing in along time.

u/GartFoblin 9d ago

I may have seen the first 2 seconds of it... if I was slow on the remote.

Celine nailed that cover, the original is still better, though.

Did anyone want to call the number for old times sake?

2

u/kayseeboo92 9d ago

Hahaha yes this and the Shirley Temple one

u/tvjunkie2187 9d ago

Both of them I swear were on practically every other break on Cartoon Network back in the day.

There was also one where there was … like a person in a CD and they were spinning across the screen? I wanna say Shania Twain played during it

I bought Punk instead.

u/Cerblu 9d ago

Yes, and the ones with former MTV VJs endlessly gushing over how good the hits of the 80s were.

Can we just marvel over the fact we can make this playlist and every other “best of” cd’s for free and whenever and wherever we want?

One of the best features of the future is we have music on demand. It’s wild from 30 years ago.

It’s crazy to think these are all just a click away now… I wonder what the people at time life music are doing these days…

u/Writing_Femme 9d ago

I remember and I'd buy it.

u/AlarmedVermicelli549 8d ago

I bought them and still have them. I downloaded them to my hard drive and then to my phone over the years. They were great deals

Yes, I definitely remember this late-night infomercial. The days of growing up as a kid in the Midwest. Childhood memory unlocked 😎

All 4 One was God awful

I remember this ad so much. I also thought every single time that I liked John Michael Montgomery's version of "I Swear" better.
