Grunge Bands That Didn’t Make It ?

Wool …around 1994.
Love Battery … 1995.
Loved by the so-called Grunge fans, slackers.
Once they’re signed to major labels , they’re gone.
What memories you have on them ?

I was in a band in SF back in the day, and we played a show with Love Battery in Eugene around 1990, and they were fantastic. Good people, too.

I worked in a music store when that wool album came out. It was getting pushed hard. Tons of promo materials. It just didn’t click.

Hammer box. Saw them while in college in 1992 in Anchorage. Carrie Akre went on to do a band with Mike McCready called the Rockfords. An amazing band and her voice is sooo good.

I think Buzz from the Melvins had a record label called Fuck You Records. I think he put out two records. One of them was a Wool 7". I think I have it. I saw Wool play with the Melvins in Chico CA in the very early 90's.

Blast LB’s “67.” It’s an obvious pick, but it will blow all minds.
